The Tonga 2025 experience is a 2-Week expedition to multiple islands in the Kingdom of Tonga.

It is designed for fully participative Zion youth who are seeking a culturally immersive experience that will be spiritually strengthening, intellectually enlightening, and focused on losing oneself in the service of others.

June 2025

Spiritual Consecration

  • Faith Building Workshop with Pacific S&I director

  • Interfaith church worship

  • Workshop with Tonga Mission President

  • Visit to the LDS Tonga temple

Cultural Cultivation

  • Tongan cultural lessons

  • Tongan dance activities

  • Fishing, farming

  • Cooking traditional Tongan food

  • Touch rugby games

  • Multiple-island excursions

Intellectual Growth

  • Various Guest Speakers

  • Reflection Journaling and Reflection

  • Multiple School Visits

Selfless Service

  • Tutoring & Coaching opportunities to help Youth in Tonga

  • Assisting at LDS Tonga Mission properties

Pricing & Eligibility

Youth hoping to go to Tonga in June 2025 are expected to do the following:

  • Attend Zion Events, Meetings, and Trainings

  • Pay the Experience Deposit

  • Obtain a Passport active through December 2025

Participants are expected to fundraise $4000

for an all-inclusive and life-changing experience:
